2 and 1/2 cups of cooked and shredded chicken breast

  7. Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with parsley and serve, if desired, garnished with pepper.

Fitness Chicken Bobó and How to Make Money with the Recipe

To make chicken bobó healthier, you can make a few simple adjustments without losing the dish's delicious flavor. Check out the changes:

  1. Cassava
Replace cassava (or manioc) with sweet potato or arracacha (batata baroa), which are lighter carbohydrate options with a lower glycemic index.

  2. Oil
Swap the oil for extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil, which are healthier, contain good fats, and maintain the creaminess of the dish.

  3. Chicken broth
Use homemade chicken broth without added preservatives, or sodium-free chicken broth to avoid excess salt.

  4. Coconut milk
Coconut milk can be kept, but if you prefer something lighter, substitute with light coconut milk or homemade coconut cream.

  5. Hot Pepper Sauce
Use natural hot sauce, without preservatives or artificial additives, or make your own homemade hot sauce.
