Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 30 g of fresh yeast
- 1 cup of warm milk
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ¼ cup of oil
- 1 whole egg
- 4 cups of wheat flour
- 360 g of Italian Mortadella with Olives Marba sliced
- 100g of tomato sauce
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
Preparation method
- In a bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar. Knead until the mixture is liquid;
- Add the milk, salt, oil, and whole egg. Stir until the ingredients are combined.;
- Add the flour and begin working the dough until it forms a compact ball. Then, knead the dough until it is soft and smooth.;
- Divide the dough into two parts;
- Cover with plastic wrap and a clean dish towel;
- Let it rest and ferment for 30 minutes;
- Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1.5 cm.;
- Cut into 15cm x 15cm squares;
- Spread 1 level tablespoon of tomato sauce in the center of 1 square of pasta;
- Arrange some slices in the center of Italian Mortadella with Olives Marba;
- Close the square, join opposite corners, and lightly brush the edges with beaten eggs to secure it;
- Brush the beaten eggs on top of each mini pizza and decorate with Parmesan cheese and parsley;
- Repeat the process until all the dough squares are filled;
- Preheat the oven to 180°C;
- Bake the mini pizzas on non-stick baking sheets for approximately 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
